Delete your Village account
Last updated: October 27, 2026
You can delete your Village Co-Parenting account at any time, from inside the app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens to your family’s information when you do.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Village and sign in.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the summary. It tells you exactly what will happen for your family. Then tap Delete.
If you pay for Village, cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play first. Deleting your account does not stop billing from Apple or Google.
Delete your account by email
If you no longer have the app, email support@villagecoparenting.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We will confirm the request comes from you and then delete the account.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address and sign-in.
- Your profile photo, the weekly photos you shared, your home town and your notification settings.
- If you share a family space with a co-parent, you are removed from it. The shared children’s profiles, calendar, tasks, items, notes and lists stay with your co-parent.
- If you are the only parent in the family space, the whole space is deleted: children’s profiles and care notes, schedules, events, tasks, items, notes, lists, emergency contacts and photos.
What is kept, and for how long
We finish deleting or de-identifying your information within 60 days. We keep only limited records the law or our accounts require, such as records of purchases and subscription payments, and security logs kept by our hosting provider. Purchase records are also held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies.
Delete some information without deleting your account
You can remove a child, an item, a note, an event or a photo in the app at any time, and you can clear your home town in Settings. For anything else, email support@villagecoparenting.com.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
